HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) 5000 IU is a highly researched peptide hormone commonly studied for its role in hormonal signaling, endocrine support, and reproductive biology. Widely utilized in scientific and clinical research settings, HCG is valued for its ability to mimic luteinizing hormone (LH) activity within the body.

Trusted by researchers worldwide, HCG plays a key role in studies involving testosterone regulation, fertility pathways, and hormonal balance.

HCG is a heterodimeric glycoprotein hormone, not a peptide. Two separately encoded chains are held together without a covalent bond, an alpha chain of 92 residues shared with LH, FSH and TSH, and a beta chain of 145 residues that makes it hCG. Roughly a third of its mass is carbohydrate, and that glycosylation is not decoration.

Supplied as 5000 IU of lyophilised material in a sealed, stoppered vial with 5 mL of bacteriostatic water. Potency is defined by bioassay, which is why the label reads IU rather than milligrams.

HCG 5000 IU is purified, verified, filled and freeze dried in our own lab in Ontario, Canada. It is not imported finished and relabelled.

Why choose HCG

What it is chosen for.

✓

Hormonal signaling support. Commonly studied for its LH-mimicking properties and role in endocrine research.

✓

Testosterone pathway research. Frequently researched for its involvement in stimulating natural testosterone production.

✓

Reproductive health studies. Used extensively in fertility and reproductive biology research models.

✓

Premium quality. Manufactured to high purity standards and rigorously quality tested.

The compound

HCG, in short.

A glycoprotein, not a peptide

Two separate chains held together without a covalent bond, and roughly a third sugar by mass. The sugars are not decoration, they are why it lasts in circulation.

Two chains

An alpha chain of 92 residues, shared with LH, FSH and TSH, and a beta chain of 145 residues that makes it hCG.

Dosed in units

Potency is defined by bioassay, not by weight, which is why the vial says IU and not mg. That standard dates to 1938.

Found in 1927

Aschheim and Zondek demonstrated it in the urine of pregnant women.
